Item: Sennen Churchtown
Description: Sennen Churchtown or Treeve is a farming settlement dating back to the Bronze Age. The First and Last pub dates to the 15th century. Standing stones have been incorporated into the hedge wall. In the last century there were three farms in Treeve accessed by single narrow lane, Duck's Alley. Treeve was first recorded in 1334. The name of Treev as Treyuf appears in surviving documents of 1334 and as Treruffe and Treyeuff in 1668.
