Item: Lamorna Cove with the quarry and cottage to the left
Description: Lamorna Cove - fishing cove and artists colony. Granite for Thames Embankment was transported from Lamorna as was enormous single block 21 feet high for the Great Exhibition 1851. A wooden pier was being used in 1860; by 1900, photographs show a stone pier in place.
