Item: An engraving of the First and Last Inn, Land's End.
Description: A photograph of an engraving of the First and Last Inn, Land's End. The engraving was published on 1 March 1826 by John P Vibert. There is said to have been an hotel here since the 15th century. It may have been used by smugglers and, at one time, had a reputation for a 'brawl a night' and ghosts. The sign says 'First' on one side and 'Last' on the other. There are unidentified people outside the Inn and the Sennen church tower is in the background.
