Identification
Item: The War Memorial at Madron.
Description: Overlooking the sweep of Mounts Bay, from left to right are the Old Vicarage, The War memorial, Madron Church and the Daniell School. The area to the right of the school was a village green. The Church was consecrated by Bishop Grandisson of Exeter on 13 July 1336; its tower was raised to its present height in 1390. The North Aisle was added about in the 16th century. The south porch was added in 1887. The school was endowed in 1710 by George Daniell.
