Item: Newlyn Harbour in the 1950s
Description: From the cliff in front of the Red Lion looking across the Old Quay to the South Pier, this photograph shows two 'stone boats' alongside the Pier. The one to the left is is one of the 'Brook' boats, part of the Comben Longstaff fleet, a subsidiary of Amalgamated Roadstone Corporation who owned and worked Penlee Quarry.
