Description: The view from above Newlyn across Lidden fields looking towards Penzance shows the second hedge which became Carne Road. The houses comprise Alexandra Terrace. Middle right is the Serpentine Works with Harvey' Saw Mill adjacent and Bodily's Mill opposite. Predominating is the New Road between Penzance and Newlyn.
