Identification
Item: Cadgwith Cove, Cornwall.
Description: A view looking down into Cadgwith Cove with the lookout or Huer's Hut on the edge of the cliff and a fish storage or brine tank in the centre and other buildings in view, including a large house at the top of the photograph. The Cove has been the port of a small fishing community for centuries and been a pilchard factory. The image dates from the mid-1950s as the car is identifiable as a Ford Anglia from that period.
