Item: Hawke's Cottage, Penzance, 1908
Description: This house used to be a farmhouse with considerable land rolling away from the back towards the sea. It was lived in by Admiral Pellew for a time. In 2014 this dwelling is still well below the level of the road, retains a thatched roof and is surrounded by trees. A plaque on the wall tells of the link with Admiral Pellew.
