Item: Rose Hill Farm and Waterwheel, Rose Hill, Penzance
Description: Rose Hill Farm and Waterwheel (Grid ref: 455305) on the footpath which runs from Madron to Polgoon in front of the farmhouse, which was built in 1899-1900, and the mill/barn is on the lower side. The overshot waterwheel is fed by a flume of water carried by the 'launder' above. The supports for the 'launder' and ground around are covered in snow. Water most probably came from a millpond fed by the stream which ran below the mill/barn.
