Item: Penzance Docks 1930
Description: The dock head gates had been damaged by the Trinity Steamer, Warden on 23 July 1930. This is one of a series of photos taken at the time and appears to show two ropes strung across the entrance to the harbour - possibly to stop boats entering the space. There are signs of activity near the dock gates with a winch in place.
