Item: St Mary's Church, Penzance
Description: This is St Mary's Church in about 1908 when it was lit by gas and the decorations are rather plain. The church was badly damaged by fire in 1984 and rebuilt to incorporated the character shown here but combined with facilities for the 20th century congregation and visitors.
