Built in 1865, as the home of the Branwell family. Penlee House is home to many paintings by members of the Newlyn School. It is also home to the Penzance Natural History and Antiquarian Society collection.

Penlee House's exhibition Harry Penhaul: Life through a Lens took us back to post-war Penwith. How did he choose his subjects? What makes his work so good? And how does this contrast with the work of photojournalists today?
