A space for all

Built in 1865, as the home of the Branwell family. Penlee House is home to many paintings by members of the Newlyn School. It is also home to the Penzance Natural History and Antiquarian Society collection.

Festival of Archaeology – Meet an Archaeologist / Roman Treasure Craft

Arty Afternoons: Owl Portraits

Running from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. Come along to Penlee House and meet an archaeologist. They will share all the behind-the-scenes information about how to be an archaeologist and what they do, as well as share their incredible local knowledge and finds they have made! Make a Roman-style cameo design for a ring and take part in a fun dig.
