Discover the archaeological collections at Penlee House and find out what life was like in Cornwall before and after the Roman invasion of Britain in AD43.
Handle replica artefacts from the Iron Age and the Roman period, and explore the influence of Roman ideas amongst the fantastic original objects on display. Try out some craft activities linked to life in the Roman times.
The half-day workshop can be linked with a visit to Chysauster Iron Age Village, just outside Penzance (Chysauster is run by English Heritage and visits should be booked separately with them).
