Item: Wreck of the Cunard SS 'Malta', Kenidjack Castle, Cape Cornwall.
Description: The SS 'Malta' of Glasgow ran ashore at Kenidjack Castle, half a mile NE of Cape Cornwall, in fog on 15 October 1889. All passengers and crew were saved, mainly in the ship's boats. As they got ashore, they heard the stamps of Botallack mine.
