Item: Marie Celine
Description: The MRIE Celine was built at Gravelines near Dunkirk. Ships of this type were sailed to Iceland for the cod fishery. Here she is shown wrecked at Parade Cove, Nare Head, Gerrans Bay on 19 January 1901. She was refloated, repaired and sold to William Bryant of Truro. She was used for trading until the 1930s, surviving 3 strandings.
