Item: Mousehole
Description: Mousehole, until the 16th century was one of the principal ports of Mounts Bay and comprised two separate towns. Originally Mousehole fell within the Manor of Alverton. The Spanish invaded here in 1595, the last foreign invasion of Britain. This view is taken from above the town, looking towards the harbour.
