Item: Market Jew Street 1882 to 1887
Description: Looking from the Terrace, the Borough Arms Foundry, 1871 to 1893, is on the left; Israel Levin the jeweller was here from 1864 to 1887; Stephen Hodge the basket maker was on site from 1880 to 1891 and Jennings Refreshment rooms were here from 1882 to 1898. Basket making was a huge industry in the area.
