Item: The Brane Barrow, Brane, near Sancreed, Cornwall.
Description: A photograph of the Brane Barrow also known as Chapel Euny Barrow, a neolithic chambered round barrow, near the hamlet of Brane, two miles southwest of Sancreed. It is 7ft high, 7ft 2in wide and 20ft in diameter. Roofed by two stone slabs, it is the best preserved barrow in West Penwith. The chamber opens onto the south-eastern side of the barrow and has been used as a shelter for sheep. Source: "Belerion", Craig Weatherhill, 1981; & Wikipedia.
