Item: Maen Amber, near Helston, Cornwall
Description: This is a photograph of Maen Amber at grid reference SW650322, a granite stacked tor formation on the most westerly hills of Carnmenellis. It is a possible site of a logan stone on the old route from Helston to Mabe, possibly destroyed by Cromwell. It can be seen from Tregonning Hills and North Cliffs and is 20ft wide, 14ft high and is the only exposed rock on this ridge. It is used a site for a religious service at Sithney Feast.
