Item: Old Lizard Head from Polpere Cove, Cornwall.
Description: Polpere Cove is just west of the Lizard Head. From 1859 to 1961 it was the site of the Lizard Lifeboat Station. The present lifeboat station is at Kilcobben Cove on the east side of the Lizard.
