Item: Anglo Saxon Cross, Gulval Churchyard, Gulval.
Description: In 1885, a new five light window was installed in the east window above the altar in Gulval Church. During demolition of the wall, this Anglo-Saxon cross was found embedded in the wall. Believed to be 1100 years old, the cross now stands outside the south porch entrance to the church. The window frame beside it was part of the original window.
