Item: Chyoone Cross, St Buryan, Cornwall
Description: This is the only Latin wayside cross in the parish of St Buryan, situated beside the road leading from St Buryan south-east to Boskenna Cross on the B3315. It is one of the largest Latin cross heads in the county. The massive head sits on its base stone minus its shaft. It is carved from coarse grained local granite and has a small crucifix figure cut in relief on the south-eastern face. It is 2ft 6" in height, on a base stone 4ft square.
