Item: Police Officers and Court Staff at the rear of St John's Hall, Penzance
Description: This photograph was taken at the rear of St John's Hall, Penzance. The police officers and court staff have walked from what was then the new police station at the bottom of Penalverene Drive across the car park through the gate and down the slope to Guildford Road and into the court rooms within St John's Hall. The two pillars at the top of the photograph were supporting the film projector room at the rear of St John's Hall and were removed with the film projector room when the new stage was built.
