Item: St Ives from Trenwith Hill
Description: A view of St Ives from Trenwith Hill showing from L to R: Carrack Dhu; Board Schools 1881 (now the Stennack Surgery); the Parish Church; Wesley Chapel; Victoria Extension to Smeaton's Pier 1890; Trenwith Terrace and the path from Trenwith Mine at the front of the picture. Trenwith Terrace, centre right, was the site of the dressing floors of Trenwith Mine. The photograph was taken from just below Trenwith Mine which mined for radium in its last working.
