Item: Morrab Gardens on an icy day
Description: Here seen on a rare icy day in Penwith, the Morrab Gardens is the first public garden in Cornwall. The ground temperature must be comparatively warm as the fountains are operating. It is carefully tended by the local council gardeners and despite hosting rare and beautiful exotic plants all year around, is used and appreciated by local people and visitors of all ages on every day of the year. It provides colourful tranquillity in the heart of Penzance. Note that the water in the fountain is flowing, an indication of the sub subterranean temperature.
