Description: The Bedford Bolitho Gardens, Penzance, with Alexandra Terrace and the old mill background were built on former industrial land, Wherrytown re-using much of the stone. The gardens, opened on Empire Day 1916, were destroyed by the Ash Wednesday storm in 1962
