Description: This is the interior of Bassetts shop, Tobacconist and Cigar Merchant, 12 Market Place, Penzance with a smiling Mr Scobey behind the counter. Wooden shelves are stacked with tins of tobacco, cigarettes and matches. Chewing gum is displayed on the counter above the cigars. In a glass cabinet are lighters. Avery scales are there for weighing the loose tobacco.
