Item: St Buryan Cross
Description: St Buryan Cross - height 2.26 m (7' 5"); height of cross 0.81 m (2' 8"); width of head 0.66 m (2' 2"); width of shaft 0.20 m 1'; thickness at bottom 0.25m (10"); thickness at top 0.20 m ( 8"). The cross, which faces East and West, consists of a fine, four-holed head in a good state of preservation. The shaft was probably originally much larger. The base is almost square and is built of roughly wrought granite.
