Item: Chun Cromlech, Morvah
Description: This is the only example of its type in a state of perfect preservation. Resembling a giant mushroom, Chun Cromlech has a closed chamber formed by 4 slabs 1.5 (5') high which lean inwards to support a huge convex capstone 3.7 m (12') square and up to 0.8 m (2.5') thick. The remains of the former covering barrow are visible. It was 0.9 (3') high and part of its kerb lies on the north east side. Large stones on its south side could indicate an entrance passage.
