Item: TheTrue Love in the back yard of 14 Camberwell Street, Penzance
Description: Robert Ellis built the True Love in the back yard of 14 Camberwell Street, Penzance, mainly from old floor boards. Her journey to the sea in May 1905 was well documented. She was launched on 26 April 1906. She sailed at least twice but was pronounced unseaworthy by the Board of Trade. Many came to see her beached at Eastern Green.
