Item: The workmen's cradle to HMS Warspite from Prussia Cove
Description: This is the workmen's cradle from Prussia Cove to HMS Warspite. The couple in it look more like sightseers than workmen and have yet to be identified. HMS Warspite broke away from the salvage tow taking her to a breaker's yard. After running aground at Prussia Cove on 23 April 1947, she was refloated on the next day's tide.
