Description: Passengers boarding the 'Lyonesse' by a gang plank onto her foredeck. 'Lyonesse' launched Harveys of Hayle for W. Cornwall Steam Ship Co 1889. 329 gross registered tons. Length 170ft. Beam 25.1ft. Draught 10.4ft. June 1900 hit a rock leaving St Mary's; June 1914 assisted Belgian steamer 'Gothland'; 1919 sold to Cobb, Ireland as a salvage ship; May 1928 returned to Hayle to be broken up.
