Item: Branwell's Corner in Penzance, c.1865
Description: Branwell's Corner in Penzance; the original Grocers shop here from 1829 was 'RM Branwell and Sons', belonging to JR Branwell's father, Robert Matthews Branwell. It is now known as Greenmarket, where Tregenza grocers was based for many years. Other identifiable shops include 'Polsue &..' to the right, 'N.J Hall Genuine tea and grocery warehouse' in front, 'A.S ?? Maker' to the left and 'Fry & Sons Pure Cocoa' to the far left. Three horse and carriages are on the road, two of them in motion with passengers.
Condition: Good - A small amount of foxing to the bottom edge and right side of the photograph.
