Item: Trawl Cutter in Mount's Bay
Description: Mount’s Bay Shipping Scene (c.1890), a mid-distance photo of a cutter (possibly a trawl-sloop), under full sail sailing from left to right (westwards). On the horizon – off St. Clements’s Isle, Mousehole, a brig appears to be at anchor – wind in the north-west. St. Clements’s Isle, and the cliff at Penlee Point, just discernable on the right margin.
Condition: Good - faded on the left-hand edge of the photograph with a small amount of foxing to the left-hand side.
