Description: The Plain an Gware or Gwarry at St Just in Penwith is a mediaeval ampitheatre. This postcard shows its Victorian retaining wall. The row of cottages to the left is Carn Bosavern; the large house with the cupola is No 1 Market Street; Back Lane to its right is sometimes called Butchers Lane.
