Item: Bethesda Hill looking towards the Harbour at St Ives
Description: Bethesda Hill gets its name either from a small chapel which once stood at the bottom where St Ives Band of Hope was started in 1870 or from the Bible, John Chapter 5 Verse 2, "a pool which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having 5 porches." Washing hanging out indicates a Monday picture.
