Item: The Queen of the Isles en route for the Isles of Scilly
Description: An increase in demand for travel to the Isles of Scilly resulted in the building of a second ship called the 'Queen of the Isles' in 1965. She weighed 515 tons and was 48 metres (57 feet) in length. She was later used as a charter before being sold to Tonga where she was wrecked on a coral reef. She is near Penzance Harbour here with Marazion in the background.
