Item: The cottage at Chapel Idnes
Description: This cottage at Chapel Idnes, Sennen Cove was demolished in the 1930s. This is believed to have been a holy place close to the site of Chapel Idnes. The cottage was said to incorporate bits of the Chapel Idnes, an eleventh century holy house. Possibly the doorway indicates a late medieval date for the chapel. This is now the site of the beach car park and possibly the surf shop there in 2010.
