Description
Matt Johnson is a freelance illustrator whose work is rooted in the natural world and the Cornish landscape, themes that shape both his book covers and print designs. He begins each piece by sketching outdoors on location, later developing the final artwork at home using a blend of paint, collage and digital techniques in Adobe Illustrator. His clients include the RSPB, The Woodland Trust, RNLI, Bloomsbury Publishing and many others. His style is also closely linked with Seasalt Cornwall, where he worked as Senior Creative Designer for 18 years, creating hundreds of prints and illustrations across fashion, accessories and homeware.
