Description: Printed invitation for the Trafalgar Service from the Mayor of Penzance: Councillor David Pooley. People are asked to meet at the Guildhall, Alverton Street, Penzance, on Sunday 21st October 1973 at 10.15am, to accompany him to Madron Church, on occasion of the Trafalgar Service. To the bottom left-hand corner 'Robes and Decorations. / Penzance, 12th October, 1973. / Transport will leave the Guildhall, at 10.20am. / Robing at Landithy Hall, Madron.' To the bottom right-hand corner 'R.S.V.P to the Town Clerk / By Noon Friday 19th October.' Black print on card, with two punch holes along the top edge. To the top of the document is the printed Borough of Penzance coat of arms in blue.
