Description: Small booklet entitled '1614 - 1964 / Borough of Penzance / Souvenir of Charter Celebrations', to be held on the 9th May 1964. Includes a foreword by the Mayor of Penzance, Councillor Mrs Lilian Garstin, members of the Council 1963 - 1964, Freemen of the Borough, officers of the Corporation and details of the Charter, Heraldic Arms and Insignia. This is followed by information about the Borough Courts, municipal boundaries and a programme of events for the celebratory day. There is also a photograph of St John's Hall. A white 8 page booklet with blue print and the Penzance Borough coat of arms on the front cover.
