A space for all

Built in 1865, as the home of the Branwell family. Penlee House is home to many paintings by members of the Newlyn School. It is also home to the Penzance Natural History and Antiquarian Society collection.

Description: Yarmouth drifter YH 886 'Ferry Boat' entering Penzance. Built in 1883 by William Crisp at Lowestoft, 31 tons. Owned by: R Lane of Southtown 1883-1887; WH Stanley of Southtown 1887-1901; WH Crome of Gorleston 1901-1907. Sold to Norway 11.6.1907.
