Item: Norwegian schooner 'Rap' of Stavanger, PH126 and other boats at the Albert Pier, Penzance after the blizzard of March 1891.
Description: The Norwegian schooner 'Rap' of Stavanger at Albert Pier, Penzance is at the centre of the photograph together with three Plymouth trawl smacks including PH126 'Samoena' and PH90 'James & Mary'.The 'Rap' was from Portmadoc for Denmark with slates and came into Penzance for shelter soon after the blizzard of 9-13 March 1891.
