Description: Programme from the 9.5.1988 Freedom of the Borough awards. The honoraries were R. A. Berryman, Alderman A. Beckerleg, P.A.S Pool Esq., Mrs N. Rolfe and Mother Philomena. The event took place at St. John's Hall, Penzance under Mayor Michael Cotton. The staple bound brochure has a pale blue cover with the Borough of Penzance coat of arms and seal, as well as a photograph of all five honararies on the reverse. Details include a list of Penzance Town Council members 1987 - 1988, the Roll of Freemen, the order of proceedings and the Scrolls.
