A space for all

Built in 1865, as the home of the Branwell family. Penlee House is home to many paintings by members of the Newlyn School. It is also home to the Penzance Natural History and Antiquarian Society collection.

Volunteering

There are several ways to become involved with volunteering at Penlee House.

We offer a range of fulfilling opportunities for volunteers at all career stages. The galleries are invigilated by volunteer stewards. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer steward, please contact us.

We also welcome help with other aspects of our work, including researching and data-inputting information on our collections, assisting with education workshops and a variety of specialist support roles relating to our collections. Please contact us for more information.
